Here all year: blueberry bushes at the nursery (3-gallon pots, $16 or 2 for $30), plus peach and nectarine jam, blueberry preserves and pear butter in the front shop ($6 a jar or 2 for $10).

Our fruit
Blueberries
Rabbiteye Alapaha, Krewer & Brightwell: big, sweet-tart berries.
Peaches & nectarines
Tropic Snow & Tropic Beauty: juicy Florida peaches and nectarines.
Florida pears
Asian sand pears, big and crisp with a mild, sweet taste.
Muscadine grapes
Southern Home, UF’s own award-winning hybrid, is deep midnight-purple with a rich, classic Concord flavor. Florida Fry is bigger, with juicy red-bronze grapes that burst with white-grape flavor. Both are great for fresh eating, jelly, juice and making award-winning wine.
Mulberries & elderberries
Both are U-pick. Ask what’s ripe before you come.
Sugar cane (U-cut)
Cut your own: great for chewing, and good for planting too.
We also have four apple trees that ripen in May, when the squirrels leave us any!
Prices & Rules
- Priced by the pound. We weigh your fruit in our front shop at the end of your visit.
- We provide the buckets. Each bucket holds about 5 lb and has a plastic bag inside (about gallon size) to take your fruit home. Please don’t bring your own containers.
- Walk-in only. No cars allowed in the orchard. Park right out front and walk in.
- Sorry, no dogs or pets allowed. Service animals welcome.
- Stormy day? Picking depends on the weather. If thunderstorms are around, text Laura at (352) 794-1176 before you come. We may open late or close early.
- Kids are welcome! Please keep your children within eyesight.
- Payment: We take cash, Venmo, Cash App and Zelle. Sorry, no credit cards or Apple Pay (we don’t have a card machine).
- Thank you for your service! Veterans and active military: show your ID and pick a free jar of jam.
- Prices can change with the season.
