Who you’ll meet in the rows

Laura

Owner & caretaker

Laura is the friendly voice on the phone and behind our messages. She runs the front of the farm and keeps everyone posted on what’s picking, and she works the fields right alongside Steve, doing a lot of the fertilizing. She’s the other half of our jam team, and off the farm she makes Libra Moon jewelry, with pieces at the Franklin Anderson Gallery downtown.

Steve

Owner & caretaker

Steve is the one you’ll spot out in the rows. He does most of the field work: mowing, pruning, fertilizing and keeping the irrigation running so the blueberries, peaches and muscadines stay happy. He’s our resident researcher and tech wizard, too. When the picking’s done, he heads to the kitchen to help stir up the next batch of jam.
